Lacrosse Academy

The 2015 Town of Hempstead Lacrosse Academy (TOHLA) season has concluded and we are already looking forward to 2016. Supervisor Kate Murray and the entire TOHLA staff extend a sincere thank you to all of this season's participants and their parents. We hope that you enjoyed learning the game of lacrosse as much as we enjoyed teaching it. Look for the 2016 schedule to be announced by February 2016.  We hope to see you next year as you continue your lacrosse development.
In the past 12 years, TOHLA has played it’s way to a reputation as one of the most successful instructional programs on Long Island. With a staff of outstanding coaches and collegiate players, the lacrosse academy teaches fun and fundamentals to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15. The lacrosse academy travels throughout the township conducting weekly clinics, one-on-one training and small group lessons. Lacrosse academy sessions help youngsters sharpen skills and bolster confidence. Regardless of format, players will raise their talent level by learning to shoot, pass, catch, stick-handle and defend. There is specialized instruction for goalies as well.
The Lacrosse Academy is open to TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD RESIDENTS ONLY. For information on all Town of Hempstead Lacrosse Academy programs call (516) 783-3208 or (516) 292-9000, ext. 7245.

The Academy staff, pictured above, is comprised of esteemed college and high school coaches
along with exceptional college players. Young lacrosse players receive expert instruction
on the fundamentals of the sport, and have fun at the same time.
When it comes to lacrosse instruction, TOHLA is in a "class" by itself.
