March for Babies Walk | 04/27/2014

Sunday, April 27, 2014 - Eisenhower Park, Parking Field 6A, East Meadow, 9 AM - Registration, 10 AM - Walk Begins

Premature birth is the leading killer of America's newborns. Those who survive often have lifelong problems. For over 70 years, the March of Dimes' groundbreaking research and innovative programs have helped save millions of babies from death or disability. For the 12th year, Supervisor Kate Murray will be the honorary chairwoman for the March for Babies walk at Eisenhower Park.

Led by Supervisor Kate Murray, the Town of Hempstead March for Babies employee team is gearing up for yet another exciting year of raising funds and awareness for the March of Dimes. Thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers and a longstanding partnership with CSEA Local 880, the Town of Hempstead team has contributed to the March of Dimes cause for more than 15 years.

Come join us and walk to celebrate a baby in your life. For more information about the walk and to join the Town of Hempstead Team call (516) 812-3496 or visit the March of Dimes website.
