Town’s Summer Shows Are All Kid’s Stuff

Youngsters of all ages will delight in the amusing antics of three uniquely talented variety shows scheduled to appear at parks across Hempstead Town during the upcoming  CHILDREN’S SUMMER FESTIVAL. All performances are presented FREE of charge, without need of tickets or reservations.

“The upcoming children’s shows will entertain young audiences with music, magic and amazing animal adventures,” according to Supervisor Kate Murray. “With morning and afternoon performances at beautiful parks throughout the township, the Children’s Summer Festival offers fun-filled, close to home, family entertainment.”

The CHILDREN’S SUMMER FESTIVAL, features 3 individual shows and 31 total performances.  The summer schedule includes, singer-songwriter DARLENE GRAHAM in “Singing at the Beach” from July 11 to 18;  THE MAGIC & COMEDY of JIM McCLENAHANfrom July 21 to 25 and ERIK’S REPTILE EDVENTURE providing an up close encounter with friendly animals, amphibians and bugs from July 28 to August 1.
