Town Is "Kidding" Around With Talented Jim McClenahan

Jim McClenahan, the ultimate showman, brings his seein' is believin' magic and side-splittin' comedy to the stage at the Merrick Road Park Golf Course Clubhouse for a FREE Town of Hempstead Children's Show on Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m.

"Jim McClenahan returns to our township by popular demand after several successful town performances," commented Supervisor Kate Murray. "Along with the music, magic and comedy, each of Jim's shows conveys an educational theme that youngsters can learn from and utilize in their daily lives."

Though Jim's November 19th performance is presented FREE of charge, tickets are required and may be obtained by calling the Hempstead Town Parks Department at (516) 29-9000, ext. 382. Youngsters are also asked to bring along an unwrapped gift for holiday donation to a needy child.

The Merrick Road Park Golf Course Clubhouse is located on Clubhouse Road in Merrick just beyond the entrance to Merrick Road Park itself and a short distance from the Meadowbrook Parkway exit on Merrick Road.
