The Town of Hempstead tax office is available to assist taxpayers with all types of payments (cash, checks, and money orders), and account inquiries. To serve you better, weekday hours of operation will be extended at the Hempstead tax office during the last 10 days of the "penalty-free" grace period. The office will be open 8 AM to 6 PM as follows:
